"Empowering People to Get From Where They Are to Where They're DESTINED." – Jeremiah 29:11

  • As Christians, we must be able to make necessary exchanges.  Exchange feelings of doubt for feelings or absolute confidence that what you are facing, God has already seen what you was facing and He is able to make it better; it will not destroy you!  We worry about things we have no control over.  God has so much power and He can change your circumstances, we just have to be patient and wait in expectation that what He said in His Word will be made manifest in our lives.  He hasn’t forgot about you, but you have forgotten that He can and will fix it for you!

    The key is to worship Him for who He is and the power that He has.  Worship Him because He is the ruler of our lives!  Worship Him because His existence guarantees every breakthrough that you will ever need!  Worship because is strength is great and no one or nothing can compare to it.  When you worship it erases worry because your heart and mind get on one accord and submit to His authority over your life!  Every trick the enemy wants to use to pin you down and make you feel defeated is cancelled when you decide to worship our amazing God!  Release worship into your atmosphere this week.  Let worship replace the worry.  Bless God.

    Lord, in spite of what I have been through and regardless of how dark it may look sometimes, I hold fast to my faith.  Any and everything the enemy wants to do to cause me to focus on my problems instead of You, my problem-solver, I bind it in Jesus Name and I count in victory in my life because Lord You Reign and You have absolute power to take my dark days and turn them into day.  Help my unbelief, Lord.  I thank You for surrounding me with Your love, Your protection, Your strength.  Whatever I face, You already beat me to it and You are working it out in my favor so I thank You.  I worship You because You hold everything in Your hands, Your love shields, comforts, restores, rejuvenates, sets free!  Thank you for being so awesome.  In Jesus Name, Amen.

    Today’s Scripture:

    Matthew 6:31-34 NLT | New Living Translation

    “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.33 Seek the Kingdom of God[e] above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

  • God watches over His people.  We are His people because of His choice.  He protects us in dangers we see and those we do not.  Don’t take the Lord’s covering over your life for granted.  Be grateful that in the midst of calamity, God preserves us and secures us in Him.

    This year thank God for His protection, His shield.

    Lord, You are mighty good to Your People.  Even when we are disobedient, You keep us.  Thank you for not letting it take us out.  Thank you for not letting the enemy have victory over us.  Thank you for giving us the authority in You to proclaim that we will be all that You have us to be and we will do all You have for us to do in 2018!

    Today’s Scriptures:

    Psalm 4:3 KJV | King James Version

    3 But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.

    Psalm 5:11-12  GW | God’s Word Translation

    But let all who take refuge in you rejoice.
    Let them sing with joy forever.
    Protect them, and let those who love your name triumph in you.
    12         You bless righteous people, O Lord.
    Like a large shield, you surround them with your favor.

    Psalm 91:1; ESV | English Standard Version

    He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

    A thousand may fall at your side,
    ten thousand at your right hand,
    but it will not come near you.

    Proverbs 18:10  NKJV | New King James Version

    The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
    The righteous run to it and are safe.

    Luke 10:19 ESV | English Standard Version

    19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.

  • Before The Lord can build, He must tear down!

    What used to work will no longer work! What the enemy thought could keep you tangled up will begin to unwind if you declare Today to be the Day of Restoration!

    No more settling for the same old, same old!  Time to change our present and build our future, based upon His Will for Our lives!

    Families, what slid through the generations…the alcoholism, the abuse, the slander, the defilement must stop!  Remember, if you don’t stand up for something, you will fall for anything!  The change you been needing, the change your family needs is yours for the asking!  Call on Him while He is near (Isaiah 55:6)!  Harden not our hearts!….Turn around and run right back to The Savior!  He’s waiting for us to surrender.

    Today’s Scriptures:

    Joel 2: 25-26 CEB | Common English Bible

    I will repay you for the years
    that the cutting locust,
    the swarming locust, the hopping locust, and the devouring locust have eaten—
    my great army, which I sent against you.
    26 You will eat abundantly and be satisfied,
    and you will praise the name of the Lord your God,
    who has done wonders for you;
    and my people will never again be put to shame.

    Isaiah 6:9-10 CEB | Common English Bible

    God said, “Go and say to this people: Listen intently, but don’t understand;
    look carefully, but don’t comprehend.
    10 Make the minds of this people dull.
    Make their ears deaf and their eyes blind,
    so they can’t see with their eyes
    or hear with their ears,
    or understand with their minds,
    and turn, and be healed.”

    Hebrews 3:14-16 CEB | Common English Bible

    We are partners with Christ, but only if we hold on to the confidence we had in the beginning until the end.

    15 When it says, Today, if you hear his voice, don’t have stubborn hearts
    as they did in the rebellion.[a]

    16 Who was it who rebelled when they heard his voice? Wasn’t it all of those who were brought out of Egypt by Moses?

    2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV |New King James Version

    14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

  • With the hustle and bustle of this world, we are finding ourselves squeezed for time.  What if we devoted more time to Christ?  What is just like how we want to be acknowledged by others that Christ withheld His blessings from us until we praised Him?  What if Christ said that He was too busy to see about you because He was helping someone else?  What if He didn’t make your needs His priority?  Truth is that some of us spend so much time cultivating dead situations that we miss what Christ really had for us, right then?  Sometimes Christ is waiting on our surrender to Him.  The Scriptures let us know that we are safe in Christ if we stay within His command, under His leadership.

    Meaning, Christ will ricochet back to satan what satan was trying to use to take us out with.  Christ cancels satan’s plot to trap us up; Christ gives us security when we place all of our trust in Him.

    We know how Christ has kept us safe before so that adds faith and hope to our lives.  Therefore, we receive His peace when we are obeying His commands and in return He watches over our lives.  He gives us immeasurable peace that not even your family, friends, and enemies will ever understand.  Give more time to your relationship with Christ.  Don’t just call on Him when you are in a bind;  Call on Him just to say thank you for safety.

    Today’s Scriptures:

    Psalm 91: 1-2 NLT | New Living Translation

    Those who live in the shelter of the Most High

    will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

    This I declare about the LORD:

    He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;

    he is my God, and I trust him.

    Philippians 4: 6-7 ESV | English Standard Version

    do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

    And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

  • The psalmist asked the question (paraphrasing): What can I give to God in return of all of His benefit package?

    Do you know what’s in the business package of Our Lord?  This business package comes with grace (giving me what I don’t deserve) and mercy (not giving me what I deserve).  It comes with lovingkindess, strength to withstand the wiles of the enemy, strength and courage to keep fighting in this race because the victory is gained through Christ Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection.  In the business package there is safety and security.

    You can count of God to fulfill His promises to you….even though you don’t see them right now!  The benefit package is won that was given to us…all we need to do is accept Christ Jesus, believe in His Word, obey Him and keep His commandments; the coverage is even extended; it is for you and your children.

    There is assurance in the benefit package because He upholds whatever He has said concerning us.  It’s His faithfulness that stands out and stands up when we need deliverance; He never leaves us because He is committed and faithful to His wayward people.  His care of the benefit package is far beyond our comprehension.  What we must do is PRAISE HIM in-spite of what may be going on.  We must find peace, which is another added-value of the benefit package.

    You can’t know the benefit package until you read it and accept its terms and agreement to be faithful, forgive, be giving, and love our neighbors and abstain from jealousy (Don’t hate on others because you delay your own benefit package!

    PRAISE HIM that while you operated outside of the benefit package He kept you from yourself and others until you decided to surrender to His Will and His Way for your life!

    God, I truly thank You for Your benefit package.  I receive it.  I want it all.  I praise You for your patience with me.  I thank you for being a sovereign God.  I thank You for being a great God, not just for what You have done for me, but for You being omnipotent and omniscient. Thank You for open enrollment being everlasting because You are always willing to step in and help me wither the storm and make it to the other side called safety and deliverance.  Thank You for having everything under Your feet (which means it’s already conquered in His name!) and in Your hand.  You rule and You reign so I step aside, handing all my worries to You.  I must hand them all over because they are too heavy and You said it’s a light thing to You!  We see that Your benefit package is worth having.  Thank You for who You are and what You do for me.  I praise You.  All glory belongs to You.  We honor You.  This prayer is signed, sealed and delivered.  In the name of Jesus, Amen.

    Today’s Scriptures:

    Psalm 116:12-14 NLT | New Living Translation

    What can I offer the LORD for all he has done for me? 13 I will lift up the cup of salvation

    and praise the LORD’s name for saving me. 14 I will keep my promises to the LORD

    in the presence of all his people.

    Psalm 103: 2 NIV | New International Version

    Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits–

    Deuteronomy 10: 21 NASB | New American Standard Bible

    “He is your praise and He is your God, who has done these great and awesome things for you which your eyes have seen.

    Psalm 22:3 KJB | King James Bible

    But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

  • ~My Prayer~

    As the day starts and I realize I’m in it,
    I begin to think of how amazing You are, oh God, to me.
    When the sun hits my face in the day and the moon blankets the nights while the stars adorn the sky,
    I begin to know why you are awesome in splendor.

    The wind from your rain satisfies my lungs.
    As I have the activities of my limbs, the bones you gave me,
    I’m awakened and more motivated to be better and do better as you commanded,
    I’m determined to stand on righteousness while I see the promises you attached to me, before I was spoken into existence.

    Oh what you paid for me I could never repay,
    but I want to give you back all of me.
    As life changes and I learn to adapt, to conquer, to climb, to persevere,
    I am strengthen by your warm embrace, your ambiance fills my soul.

    Someone smiles as I walk by and I can see you in them,
    reminding me to keep my head up,
    reminding me that the fight is one that is already won,

    Oh if I just trust you the more,
    Oh if I’d only concentrate on your greatness,
    I’d see the provisions you made ahead of me,

    Seeing the victories that didn’t pass me but were given to me by you.
    I began to think of how amazing you are to me, oh God.
    I don’t deserve your compassion, your concern for me,
    But you overwhelm me with your loving-kindness and tender mercies,
    You anointed me for your great cause.

    If I rest in humility before you,  If I remain teachable,
    I know this race I will succeed!
    If I honor you more, the more I will become alive!
    The more I’m set free!
    I see how amazing you are to me.

    Thank you for the opportunity to worship you because
    You are vital to my being.
    I live, I move, I am,
    because of who you are and what you did and what you do!

    You allow me to get to know you,
    I will not forget what it means to know who you are,
    I thought about it and I’m glad I see how great you are,
    I will share you with those near and far so we can share together the peace of knowing you.

    My prayer is sealed and delivered. In Jesus Name, Amen.

    Today’s Scripture:

    Psalm 51: 1-12 CEB | Common English Bible

    Have mercy on me, God, according to your faithful love!
        Wipe away my wrongdoings according to your great compassion!
    Wash me completely clean of my guilt;
        purify me from my sin!
    Because I know my wrongdoings,
        my sin is always right in front of me.
    I’ve sinned against you—you alone.
        I’ve committed evil in your sight.
    That’s why you are justified when you render your verdict,
        completely correct when you issue your judgment.
    Yes, I was born in guilt, in sin,
        from the moment my mother conceived me.
    And yes, you want truth in the most hidden places;
        you teach me wisdom in the most secret space.[a]

    Purify me with hyssop and I will be clean;
        wash me and I will be whiter than snow.
    Let me hear joy and celebration again;
        let the bones you crushed rejoice once more.
    Hide your face from my sins;
        wipe away all my guilty deeds!
    10 Create a clean heart for me, God;
        put a new, faithful spirit deep inside me!
    11 Please don’t throw me out of your presence;
        please don’t take your holy spirit away from me.
    12 Return the joy of your salvation to me
        and sustain me with a willing spirit.

  • People of God, you need discernment in order to know which doors to shut and which ones to keep open.  One thing that plagues us is the inability to shut the door on people, on situations that mean us no good.  It’s not that you don’t recognize the doors that need to be shut; it’s simply that you don’t want to shut the door because you feel like you will miss something.  You must lose to gain.

    Get rid of unfruitful relationships.  Know what fruit is growing in your heart.  If a person doesn’t mean you any good and they are constantly causing you hell, let it go—CLOSE THE DOOR.

    If a person in your circle keeps chasing their tail and are truly still stuck in the same mess-ups it proves to you that that is their plight, not yours.  Move on. CLOSE THE DOOR.

    CLOSE THE DOOR to inability.  OPEN THE DOOR to ability.  Our God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above ALL …

    CLOSE THE DOOR to depression and anxiety. Open the door to peace.  Our God supply peace that surpasses all understanding…

    CLOSE THE DOOR to loneliness.  Open the door to contentment with being alone with God. Wait on God to give you a mate. Stop trying to go ahead of God.  Don’t stay in relationships that drain you, depleting your strength. YOU ONLY GET ONE LIFE ON EARTH, WHY WASTE IT IN RELATIONSHIPS THAT MEA YOU NO EARTHLY GOOD?

    CLOSE THE DOOR to broken heartedness.  Open the door to freedom from the binds of your past.  God is close to those who are brokenhearted.  Talk to God. Let Him give you solace.  You can walk in His miraculous healing power!  God doesn’t just heal the physical you, He is able to heal the Spiritual you; your mind, body, and soul!

    CLOSE THE DOOR to being broke.  Stop spending all your money on worthless things.  Sit down and budget with God.  Hand him over your bills.  Let Him be your personal banker.  Let Him provide according to His riches!  Be a good steward—start there.  Let God multiply your means.

    Finally, OPEN THE DOOR to positive energy.  Be more than just “potential.”  Exercise your faith in God.  Stop closing doors He has opened for you to walk through—sometimes we miss what God is trying to give us so He turns around and releases that closed door again and again until you have sense enough to go forward.  Don’t drag along old baggage.

    I pray this has blessed you and encouraged you to be more Spiritually awakened so you can know which doors to close and which doors to open in your life.  Someone needs to know that your destiny awaits! You’ve been struggling for so long because you didn’t get the clue that Our God has OPENED THE DOOR!

    Walk into the new you!  Don’t let your circumstances dictate your behavior.  Pray & Praise, Pray & Praise.  Be a student of Our God.  Apply the information He gives you.  Get in tune with Him.  Your door awaits you!

    Today’s Scriptures:

    Isaiah 22:22 NIV | New International Version

    “I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open”

    Matthew 16:9 ESV | English Standard Version

    “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

  • A great deal in knowing our strength, our energy is to know that God has given us life through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  God gives us privilege to know Him and receive the benefits of knowing Him.  So, inside the eye, we must use our Spiritual lens so that we don’t give up or get weary in trying to serve The Lord, but that we remain in the hope of Christ.  The Hope of Christ lets us know that although the storm may rise, Our God will preserve us and establish us.  Though the winds of life may blow hard against us, we are not torn down, but we are uplifted and are safe in His Arms.

    We must strive to remain in The Will of God in order for us to know the blessings, the benefit of being in God’s Army.  The inheritance is much more than money.  As you live, you learn that peace is worth more than money.  A piece of peace is much more valuable because no matter the tide, God’s peace brings assurance and constantly renews our hope in Christ.  God has all power and all good things belong to Him: He has given us access, but all in His time.  If I keep my heart’s eye clear of debris, that is, giving my worries over to God and trusting that He will take care of it all, I am able to see that God will never leave me and that He means me no harm.  I will be able to learn from God and journey in peace.

    NOTE: As the eyelashes protect (benefit) the eye from dust and harm so it is that The Holy Bible and communication with God, through Jesus Christ, offer protection (benefit) to God’s children.

    Today’s Scriptures

    Ephesians 1:18-19 NIV | New International Version

    I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in His Holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.

    Philippians 4:7 KJV | King James Version

    And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
