"Empowering People to Get From Where They Are to Where They're DESTINED." – Jeremiah 29:11

  • Human growth shows the journey of a baby to a senior.  In between this time, growth and development happens with each stage.  In each stage there are some obstacles like from crawling to walking, from walking to running.  In this case, one cannot run if they don’t know how to walk.

    When you give God your life, you are in the crawling stage.  You are being introduced to Christ and learning about how He died on the cross, was buried, and rose (for you, for me).  You are learning about His commandments and His love, His faithfulness to you.  While learning these things, you are being further enlightened through His wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, which is a continual process because rebuking self is the hardest, most constant and consistent battle we face on top of the enemy’s desire to kill, steal, and destroy.

    But in the Scriptures, the point that Peter and David were trying to make is that when you find out how good God is and has been to you, through personal experience, and you are in constant communication with him, at the baby stage, then you shouldn’t be repeating, continuously, the baby stage all of your life.  Growing in God means to become or be in the process of transformation and transcendence into a higher Godly way of thinking. In other words, when you are no longer a child and you become an adult, you shouldn’t still be acting like a child in adult situations.

    God is requiring that we grow up in Him, to mature in Him.  This means that at some point, there is no excuse that we can make up for the justification of our sinfulness.  There is no escape from living a Holy life, as acceptable to Him and not what man accepts.  We are challenged, just as if we are a teen who no longer takes a baby bottle and an adult who no longer takes a sippy cup.

    We are challenged to grow in the knowledge and admonition of God.  We are tasked to learn His way and quit circling the same sin because when we grow in Him and our prayer is to rid ourselves of it, wholeheartedly, we must not continue to chase our tail; that is, if we believe that God can and will deliver us.

    Some of us don’t know what deliverance is, but yet we profess to be God-believers.  God is challenging us to grow up; to stop making excuses and rise up in this evil and cruel world as People of God who are working to be Holy and acceptable to Him, for He is the reason we are living.

    So then, The Apostle Paul, in Hebrews 6 is calling us to Spiritual Maturity in God.  He is telling us that once we have felt God’s goodness and have received His abundant grace and mercy, we must take up our cross, bearing it with Jesus Christ, and then be risen with Him, in the same manner.  To be risen with Him is to live how He has instructed, but to stay in disobedience and refute Him, we are re-crucifying Him again and this won’t happen because His Word is true, what He destined it to do, it will not return to Him incomplete.  We have to strive to get closer to Him, which means we must strive to obey and take heed to what He has instructed us to do.

    Why does David say, in Psalm 34:8 (b) The Message Bible Version, “Blessed are you who run to Him?”  It is because you can get to God faster if you run than if you walk!  In other words, sometimes we are in positions where we didn’t expect.  We have been disobedient and need some help to get out of the mess we have made; so, in this instance, we have to run into His safety and allow Him to apply grace and mercy and rebuke the enemy, on our behalf.  Have you ever been in this position? I have.  You can lie to man, but God knows your every thought.  You can’t escape His discipline just like you can’t escape His blessings!

    This Week’s Challenge:  This week, start to think of your sins against God.  Talk to Him about them.  Ask Him to show you how He wants you to be. Be convicted and ask for His Divine forgiveness.  Ask Him for mercy.  Talk to Him about how hard it is to give it up and ask for help in that area.  Acknowledge your sin. Pray for sincere forgiveness.  Ask that He break the chains of bondage in your life.  Repent and Let God forgive. Walk towards Him.  Don’t take your eyes off Him and you can surely walk into God’s Divine Deliverance.   Make up your mind as to what you will to do and ask His Will to be in your life.  Let God know that you desire to inquire in His temple and you desire to follow His commandments.  In reality, this is only between you and God.  This is not a social gathering for it is an intimate relationship with God.

    Today’s Scriptures:

    Hebrews 6: 1-8 MSG | The Message

    1-3 So come on, let’s leave the preschool finger painting exercises on Christ and get on with the grand work of art. Grow up in Christ. The basic foundational truths are in place: turning your back on “salvation by self-help” and turning in trust toward God; baptismal instructions; laying on of hands; resurrection of the dead; eternal judgment. God helping us, we’ll stay true to all that. But there’s so much more. Let’s get on with it!

    4-8 Once people have seen the light, gotten a taste of heaven and been part of the work of the Holy Spirit, once they’ve personally experienced the sheer goodness of God’s Word and the powers breaking in on us—if then they turn their backs on it, washing their hands of the whole thing, well, they can’t start over as if nothing happened. That’s impossible. Why, they’ve re-crucified Jesus! They’ve repudiated him in public! Parched ground that soaks up the rain and then produces an abundance of carrots and corn for its gardener gets God’s “Well done!” But if it produces weeds and thistles, it’s more likely to get cussed out. Fields like that are burned, not harvested.

    1 Peter 2:2-3 NLV | New Life Version

    As new babies want milk, you should want to drink the pure milk which is God’s Word so you will grow up and be saved from the punishment of sin. 3 If you have tasted of the Lord, you know how good He is.

    1 Peter 2:2-3 MSG | The Message

    So clean house! Make a clean sweep of malice and pretense, envy and hurtful talk. You’ve had a taste of God. Now, like infants at the breast, drink deep of God’s pure kindness. Then you’ll grow up mature and whole in God.

    Psalm 34:8 MSG | The Message

    Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see—
    how good God is.
    Blessed are you who run to him.

    Psalm 34:8 NLV | New Life Version

    O taste and see that the Lord is good. How happy is the man who trusts in Him!

  • Believers of God, my fellow warriors for Jesus Christ, realize that there are things that we do not deserve but God gives, anyways…GRACE

    There are things that we should have happen to us, because of our sin, our disobedience, but God does not let them happen to us…MERCY

    The key element in all this is appreciation for grace and mercy through the sanctification of our lives.

    What do I mean exactly?  I mean if you do not heed to The Word of God, if we do not do as God has commanded us to do, we run the risk of being obedient, just because of something we had to give up.  This means, God will make us obey, one way or the other! In God, we are to be growing in His knowledge, reading His Word, doing His work, sinning less, being obedient without it costing us something.  (Obedience by Sacrifice)

    For instance, that car that you drive, you have always wanted and you finally got it, but now you are not as humble as you were before you got that car.  Now you do not pick people up, you make yourself unavailable, you all of a sudden do not pray like you did before you got that car.  You do not praise and worship as much, because you are always running in the car, washing it and your focus shifted to the car and your eyes turned from God, the one who gave you the car in the first place…something happens to you or the car and you suddenly get a revelation from God that you have been disobedient and ignoring His call for you to work in His ministry and be obedient.

    So, God had to do something to show you His Glory, to show you that He is above all things and is to be obeyed because you are His child.  Now, this car, for some it was a nice new car and for others it was a nice used car.  Then there are others it was a piece of junk, but it got you from point A to B.  God will force you to be obedient, if He has to force you into it, He will, but understand it is sacrificial obedience.  He hopes that you will just obey Him.  He hopes that we would see His marvelous works, His miracles, His blessings, and be satisfied enough to be obedient.

    But, because we are warring inside between God’s Spirit and the enemy’s spirit, we are in turmoil and confusion, within the war, because we are disobedient and do not read His Word, in efforts to gain an understanding. We are simply playing games with the enemy without using the authority that God has given us.  We are blinded by material things and we satisfy the flesh more than we nurture God’s Spirit within us.  We are so blinded by social media and we have become a world that if you do not have many followers, you are not “liked” or “popular” or “adored.”  We want to know more about celebrity status than we want to know about our status in God.  Think on this.

    Be obedient without God having to force us to.  We decided to follow Christ.  He is waiting on us to be obedient because of His inheritance and because of His deity.  Ask for forgiveness and truly mean what you are saying.  Draw closer to Him so we are not blinded by the enemy’s disguises.  God is light.  God requires RIGHTEOUSNESS.

    Our God, Our Father, here we are. We know that You require more of us. We realize that we must turn from our wicked ways and follow you.  We realize that there are some things in our lives that reek of sin, we have loved sin more than we have loved you.  We are willing, Lord, to follow You. Teach us how to obey You.  Thank you for Your WORD.  Forgive us, cause Your face to shine on us.  We are calling on You, Our Father, to fix us, clean us up. Create in us a clean heart and renew unto us the right Spirit. Thank you for grace. Thank you for mercy.  We humble ourselves before You.  We cannot make it without You.  This prayer is signed, sealed, and delivered through Jesus The Christ, Amen.

    Humility is an act of obedience. Servitude to God is an act of obedience.  Loving your enemies is an act of obedience.  Following His instructions and directions are an act of obedience.  We choose disobedience and we choose obedience.

    Today’s Scriptures:

    1 Samuel 15:22 NLT | New Living Translation

    But Samuel replied, “What is more pleasing to the LORD: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.

    Hebrews 10:6 NLT | New Living Translation

    You were not pleased with burnt offerings or other offerings for sin.

    1 Peter 5:6 KJV | King James Version

    Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

    Psalm 119:73 NLT | New Living Translation

    You made me; you created me. Now give me the sense to follow your commands.

    2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV | King James Version

    If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

     Psalm 51:7-15 GNT | King James Version

    Create a pure heart in me, O God, and put a new and loyal spirit in me.
    Do not banish me from your presence; do not take your holy spirit away from me.
    Give me again the joy that comes from your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. Then I will teach sinners your commands, and they will turn back to you. Spare my life, O God, and save me, and I will gladly proclaim your righteousness. Help me to speak, Lord, and I will praise you.

    Joshua 24:15(a) GW | Good News Translation

    But if you don’t want to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve.

  • Before you act and react out of emotions, consider seeking God for instruction and direction. You may be surprised at how he tells you to handle that situation.

    Today’s Scripture:

    “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.”

    John 16:13-14 KJV | King James Version

  • In addition to last week’s blog on Spiritual Exercise, it is important to review and do these exercises as well:

    Lifting Your Hands: When you lift your hands you are submitting to God. You are recognizing His strength, His abilities, His powerfulness (OMNIPOTENT), Him being all-knowing (OMNISCIENT), and He is everywhere (OMNIPRESENT).

    Lift your head as well when you do this. He is El Elyon (The Most High God); Adonai (Lord, Master); El Olam (The Everlasting God); El Shaddai (The Lord God Almighty); Jehovah Sabaoth (The Lord of Hosts); Jehovah Tsidkenu (The Lord Our Righteousness)

    Bowing your head: An act of total submission and reliance on God, recognizing God as your King, recognizing His authority (sovereignty) over you, His reign (rule). (Genesis 24:26; Genesis 19:1; 1 Kings 18:42; Nehemiah 8:6)

    Kneeling: We often pray by just saying prayers wherever we are and whenever we think of it.  Devote some time on your knees, with your head bowed, and pray to God—designate time for this.  God wants to see that you are diligently seeking Him (Hebrews 11:6) and that you recognize Him as God, your Father.

    He adopted us through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Thus, we are joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17)and can come to God, boldly (Hebrews 4:16).  Boldly in making our requests in faith that His Will is done in our lives (Matthew 6:10).  Also, when you are praying ask God for forgiveness, PRAY HIS WORD (1 John 1:9; Isaiah 1:18)

    Placing your hand on your head, anointing your head with oil (GET YOUR SOME OIL AND BLESS IT IN JESUS NAME) James 5:14-16 (for healing) (abundance – “cup run over” Psalm 23:5; Ephesians 3:20-21.  This is another way to pray commands over your life.  Commands from God, like in (Deuteronomy 28:13; Deut. 15:10; 30:9; Luke 6:38, Luke 10:19) where it says you are the head and not the tail…above and not beneath….and that you are of them that have overcame the wicked one (1 John 2:14) by the power of your Blood of The Lamb (Jesus as a sacrifice for you) testimony (Revelations 12:11)…praying His word in confidence because He made you and know you and what you are in need of …Jeremiah 1:5; Psalm 139:13

    Hand to heart: Further exercise that can be used when you pray for yourself. Recognition that He is Lord, your provider (Jehovah Jireh); The Lord is there (Jehovah Shammah); Jehovah Rapha (The Lord that Heals); Jehovah Shalom (The Lord is Peace); Jehovah- Raah (The Lord My Shepherd)

    Spiritual Exercise Challenge: As Christians, we tend to praise and worship God when everything is going well, but what do you do when all hell breaks loose and it seems there is trouble on every side?  What do you do when trials and tribulations are testing your faith?  What do you do when you children are acting up?  When your marriage seems to be on the limb, when people have disappointed you and have not treated you like you treated them?  You simply continue in praise and worship.  You continue to offer God your praise, even from the lowest valley in your life.

    If you remain consistent in your praise and worship, you will find peace in the middle of the storm (keeping your heart and mind on Him) asking Him to transform your heart and mind (Isaiah 26:3; Romans 12:2); you will rest in assurance that if God brought you out before, He will surely come to your rescue.  Soak up what you are to learn through those trials.

    Consider that it is a part of a growing pang that is meant to direct you back to your source: Jesus Christ.  Consider that God can and will bring you out.  Consider how Jesus Christ got through everything He faced, on Earth.  He continued to call on Abba, His Father.  He continued to trust and when He was low on faith (PRAY THE PRAYER OF FAITH – Hebrews 11:1; Mark 11:24; Matthew 7:7), He asked God for help.

    BECOME A BIBLE READER! STOP SKIPPING READING THE WORD OF GOD TO DO OTHER THINGS, YOU CANNOT ACHIEVE PEACE OR EVEN KNOW GOD WITHOUT KNOWING HIS DIVINE WORD. DON’T BE LAZY IN GOD, WE DO EVERYTHING ELSE YET WE WANT GOD TO COME RIGHT AWAY…

    MENTAL NOTE: Think about how God feels.  You always asking for something but never want to learn more about Him and pray the Scriptures because you won’t take time out to learn.  Everybody makes the excuse they are too busy.  What if God was too busy to come see about you?

    Today’s Scriptures:

    1 John 5:14 NIV | New International Version

    This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

    Hebrews 4:16 ESV | English Standard Version

    Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

    Isaiah 43:26 NLT | New Living Translation

    “Come now, let’s settle this,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.

    Isaiah 55:11 NLT | New Living Translation

    It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.

    Romans 12: 2 KJV | King James Version

    And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

  • Lifting up your hands means that you:

    • Submit to God,
    • You reverence Him for His greatness, for Him being God and His authority, His rule, His reign.
    • You are recognizing that only God can solve it! Only God can cause things to work out for your good…Romans 8:28.

    Hands in forward position commands:

    • You are commanding peace in your life.

    • You are commanding that the enemy has no rule in your life.

    • You are commanding that your life be blessed, your family be blessed, your home be blessed, your job be blessed, your friends be blessed, your enemies are cast down,

    • Your strongholds are breaking apart, you are commanding life and life more abundantly, you are commanding everything your hands touch will prosper!

    • You are cancelling depression and anxiety,

    • You are cancelling the enemy away from your marriage!

    • You are casting out demons that are still lingering in your life!

    • You are cancelling addiction.  Moses stretched his hand and then in another scripture he stretches out his rod and through God he parted the sea!

    Exercise. Spiritual Exercise.

    Today’s Scriptures:

    Exodus 14:26-31 GNT | Good News Translation

    26 The Lord said to Moses, “Hold out your hand over the sea, and the water will come back over the Egyptians and their chariots and drivers.” 27 So Moses held out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the water returned to its normal level. The Egyptians tried to escape from the water, but the Lord threw them into the sea. 28 The water returned and covered the chariots, the drivers, and all the Egyptian army that had followed the Israelites into the sea; not one of them was left. 29 But the Israelites walked through the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on both sides.

    30 On that day the Lord saved the people of Israel from the Egyptians, and the Israelites saw them lying dead on the seashore. 31 When the Israelites saw the great power with which the Lord had defeated the Egyptians, they stood in awe of the Lord; and they had faith in the Lord and in his servant Moses.

    Romans 4:17 GNT | Good News Translation

    17 as the scripture says, “I have made you father of many nations.” So the promise is good in the sight of God, in whom Abraham believed—the God who brings the dead to life and whose command brings into being what did not exist.

    Deuteronomy 30:9(a) NKJV | New Kings James Version

    The Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good.

    Psalm 145:1-13 CEB | Common English Bible

    I will lift you up high, my God, the true king.
        I will bless your name forever and always.
    I will bless you every day.
        I will praise your name forever and always.
    The Lord is great and so worthy of praise!
        God’s greatness can’t be grasped.
    One generation will praise your works to the next one,
        proclaiming your mighty acts.
    They will talk all about[b] the glorious splendor of your majesty;
        I will contemplate your wondrous works.
    They will speak of the power of your awesome deeds;
        I will declare your great accomplishments.
    They will rave in celebration of your abundant goodness;
        they will shout joyfully about your righteousness:
        “The Lord is merciful and compassionate,
        very patient, and full of faithful love.
        The Lord is good to everyone and everything;
        God’s compassion extends, to all his handiwork!”
    10 All that you have made gives thanks to you, Lord;
        all your faithful ones bless you!
    11 They speak of the glory of your kingdom;
        they talk all about your power,
    12     to inform all human beings about God’s power
        and the majestic glory of God’s kingdom.
    13 Your kingdom is a kingship that lasts forever;
        your rule endures for all generations.

  • God wants to give us a renewed mind in Him.  Spiritual Warfare is REAL.  You are battling against two things: You and demonic influence.  Our mind has to align with our hearts.  Our hearts love God and desire to be more like Him, but our carnal (earthly) mind must consistently be renewed, refreshed so that we can be clear and have the peace God wants to give to our Spiritual Man.  He wants your heart to control your mind, so that you are guarded from demonic influence and you do not keep you from allowing God to elevate your mind, taking you to HIGHER thinking in Him.

    What do you mean?  I mean that we have to be conscious of the fact that the enemy attacks the mind FIRST.  We need to be conscious of the wiles of the enemy.  We can only see this in the Spiritual Realm of God.  Allow God to train your mind.  Allow God in, which means you may need to step back from social media and earthly conversations with people.  God wants to ELEVATE your thinking!  He wants you to grow in His wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

    He meets us right where our heart and mind are…this means He is willing if you are willing to allow HIM to teach you in the Spirit so it can pour over into your earthly man.  Unplugging from the world and dwelling within God’s Spiritual Realm requires total submission to Him.  How does one do this?  Go into prayer.  Pray and pray more.  Pray His Word and READ HIS WORD, allow Him to teach you; He will give you the scriptures You NEED and He will open your eyes, which are a gateway into your mind, so that He can dwell there, too!  He wants total dependence to be on Him.

    He desires to increase your faith, your trust in Him, but you must be willing to let go of old things and allow Him to make things new!  We shed sinful ways as we walk into His presence, His Spiritual Realm!  Do not be worried about getting money and being successful, as the world has made this about being greedy and hungry, thirsting after the wrong things and not thirsting, as we should, for God’s Righteousness.  Submit yourself to Him today.

    Lord, here we are, your people.  We need a renewed mind.  Teach us how to operate in the Your Spirit.  Teach us how to obey Your will.  Help our hearts to pour over into our minds.  We then can cancel depression, we can then allow You to rebuke the devourer for our sake.  God here we are, sinful in nature and sometimes wayward people, but nevertheless we are Your PEOPLE.  You have unctioned, anointed by You. You give us Spiritual Authority to rebuke the enemy.  Your Word tells us that you have the ability to transform our minds in You.  Your Word does not return unto YOU void.  He that began a new work in me will complete it!  We are confident in Your ability to DELIVER our minds!  We speak Your Authority in our lives.  Our hearts yearn for You and our minds need You, too.  You remove strongholds, God we have some things blocking us from seeing You.  Help us to breakthrough them and stand within Your realm.  Help us to Spiritually transcend and transform our minds in You.  Oh God, we are willing.  God we need a renewed mind.  Our prayer is in Jesus Name; it is SIGNED, SEALED, AND DELIVERED to You through Jesus Christ, Amen.

    Spirit of God RELEASE our carnal mind to subject to our Spiritual Mind.  RENEW, give us the right SPIRIT.  Clean us so we may see You.  We walk in The Spirit of God, we must act like it!

    Today’s Scriptures:

    Philippians 2:5-11 KJV | King James Version

    Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

    6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

    7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

    8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

    9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

    10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

    11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    Romans 12:2 NIV | New International Version

    Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.

    Ephesians 4:23-24 NASB | New American Standard Bible

    and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

    Isaiah 26:3 NKJV | New King James Version

    You will keep him in perfect peace,
    Whose mind is stayed on You,
    Because he trusts in You.

  • Running low on fuel? JUST CALL ON HIM, YOU KNOW HIS NAME —

    UNPLUG, DISCONNECT FROM fruitless conversation and contact/CONNECT TO THE ONE who can do something about what you are going through…A lot of us are dialing the wrong number–we should unplug from friends and family sometimes and plug it to THE ONE who can breathe life into you again.  THE ONE who has the power, the ability to change your situation.  THE ONE that can restore you, revive you and give you the joy of you salvation!

    The problem is that we want to contact God as the last resort instead of contacting Him AS OUR ONLY RESORT!  We are inpatient so we run around looking in all the wrong places for something that can only come from God.  We waist energy searching for what is right before us!  God will, if you allow Him to take over your situation. Subject your life to Him and wait on Him to deliver unto you what you need to survive in this mean world!

    God will provide you the energy to keep fighting and holding on to your faith, expecting God to resolve whatever it is.

    Scripture Reference: John 10:9-11 AMP | Amplified Bible – “I am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved [and will live forever], and will go in and out [freely], and find pasture (spiritual security). 10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].”

    Scripture Reference: Matthew 7:7 NLT | New Living Translation—“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”

    Feeling alone?  Scared? PRAY HIS SCRIPTURES BECAUSE IT OPENS THE EARS OF GOD! Jeremiah 1:12; Isaiah 55:11

    God promised to never leave you nor forsake you.

    Scripture Reference: Hebrews 13:5b AMP | Amplified Bible – “for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!””

    Scripture Reference: Psalm 34:4 NLT | New Living Translation – “I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.”

    Scripture Reference: 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 ERV | English Revised Version—‘For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh 4(for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strong holds); 5casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; 6and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience shall be fulfilled.

    Scripture Reference: 1 Corinthians 10:13 NLT | New Living Translation—“The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

    Scripture Reference: Psalm 23:5 NIV | New International Version—“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”

    Scripture Reference: Deuteronomy 28:7 NIV | New International Version—“The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.”

  • PSALM 103 really puts a THANK YOU LORD in my Spirit.  When you feel like giving up and it’s hard to see the SON shining through your storm, know that The Lord, Your God is making your problems His priority!

    Now, worship WHO HE IS because if it had not been for The Lord, who is on your side, Like Pastor Marvin Sapp says, you never would have made it… without God…” “I would have lost it all, but now I see how YOU was there for me and I can say….! And “Shout unto God with a voice of triumph (Psalm 47:1); (Isaiah 14:7) sing unto Him the song of the redeemed. Lift up a banner, a banner of worship. He is The Lord, Our King!”

    PRAISE BREAK  –If you haven’t taken the time to say, THANK YOU GOD, You owe HIM right now! He deserves it!  What you went through could have destroyed you, but THANKS BE UNTO GOD! You are still here!–

    Tell God thank you, worship Him in the beauty of Holiness (Psalm 96:9).

    Honor Him with your life!  He forgives us, heals us, delivers us, rescues us, protects us…I am positive you know of some reasons in your life that nobody but God solved, NObody but God made a breaK thOUgh! It was nobody but You, GOD.

    So I LIFT my hands in praise and I submit my will over to You, Your will is what’s best for me! I am going higher in You. I am elevated because of You! Thank You Lord for being Sovereign! Hallelujah! You’re worthy!  Thank You for being Master over my life.  Thank YOU for being awesome in WoNdeR!  I AM WHO I AM BECAUSE YOU ARE WHO YOU ARE, GOD! Everything I have is because of You.  The trials and tribulations that tried to hinder us, we broke through them all, because of YOUR POWER, YOUR AUTHORITY to stop the enemy in his tracks.  Everything is subject to You.  I WORSHIP YOU.

    Today’s Scripture:

    PSALM 103 NIV | NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION

    Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

    2Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—

    3who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,

    4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,

    5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

    6 The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.

    7 He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel:

    8 The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.

    9He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;

    10he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.

    11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;

    12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

    13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;

    14 for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.

    15 The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field;

    16 the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.

    17 But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,

    and his righteousness with their children’s children—

    18 with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.

    19The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.

    20Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding,

    who obey his word.

    21Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.

    22Praise the Lord, all his works everywhere in his dominion. Praise the Lord, my soul.
