"Empowering People to Get From Where They Are to Where They're DESTINED." – Jeremiah 29:11

  • People of God, we must get to a place where we are comfortable with sharing the generosity of God, with others.  Why be selfish, since God has given to you? Why not give to others?  We must realize that God has been too good to us for us to keep it to ourselves! Share and share, some more! Don’t you know that by giving, you won’t run out?

If you empower someone else, not just with words, but with actions, with movement behind the words, God will keep enlarging (increasing) your territory!  The Bible explains this in several passages of Scriptures.

Put some action behind your words.  Since you say God is Our Provider, give as He has so graciously given to you!  (verse 7)

It’s time to be a GIVER! Don’t be concerned about always GETTING.  Sow (give) to others.  Give so that you can have an abundance.

If all you’re doing is stockpiling, for yourself, you will miss out on what God has to give to you. Your hands will be too full.  God told us to give and He will reward us.  What are you holding onto that should be given to someone else?

    Ministry requires giving.

Question: Erica, you know that times are getting scarce, how can I be a giver when I feel I barely have enough for myself?

Answer: The Lord says, give, from your “few” and “He will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you” – verse 10. This will give “thanks to God” – verse 12.

PRINCIPLE: Giving God Thanks is to Give to Others

    Today’s Scripture:

2 Corinthians 9:6-14 NLT | New Living Translation

6Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 7You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”c 8And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. 9As the Scriptures say,

“They share freely and give generously to the poor.

Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”d

10For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generositye in you.

11Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God. 12So two good things will result from this ministry of giving—the needs of the believers in Jerusalemf will be met, and they will joyfully express their thanks to God.

  • God’s People,

Won’t you trust Him? What’s keeping you from progression? What’s holding onto you, so much so, that you are stuck going backwards? Life is a SLIDING SCALE.

I remember, Bishop Larry Grinstead, would discuss, that in life, you’re either going towards God, or moving away from Him. You’re never standing in the same position.  What’s it going to take for you to step away from it all and just trust God?

Aren’t you tired of what you’re doing?  Are you ready to surrender, YET? What will it take for you to stand on the DIVINE PROMISES OF GOD? What will activate your faith, your trust, in GOD?

    PRACTICALITY: MAKING IT MAKE SENSE!

Scenario 1: You want to be promoted.  You’ve done the work.  Your Boss is overlooking you, but you haven’t applied for anywhere else.  You haven’t taken the time to job search.  You haven’t taken time to just hear God. You’ve been stuck for a while.  It’s become your domicile.  -OR- Maybe you’ve applied and gotten a few rejections.  Is NO, Final? NO. KEEP GOING. KEEP APPLYING. You’re attended church, day- in and day- out, but you haven’t actually applied to any new positions because of FEAR OF REJECTION??  What’s it going to take for you to step-out and apply, AGAIN?

Scenario 2: You’ve been in a bad relationship, for years.  You’ve beat yourself up, wondering what you’ve done to deserve maltreatment.  You’ve continuously given of you, but they continuously ignore your feelings, your needs.  There’s been the Voice of God, in your ear, but you think that it’s not God, telling you to move on.  You’ve continued to stay in a blood-sucking, heart-wrenching, soul-taking, relationship, because you’re so used-to that person being in your presence, good or badWhat’s it going to take for you to move on?

Scenario 3: You’ve continued to be there for someone who just isn’t willing to be there for you.  You constantly check on them, but they don’t give you the same courtesy.  You’ve know them for years.  You’ve loved them.  Unfortunately, they’re always too busy to check-in on you.  You know this isn’t right, but you continue to reach out to them, to pour out your, while they continue to neglect you, saying things like, “I was really busy.”  How long will you chase after someone who doesn’t take the time-of-day, to check on you? Will you let them go?

Note (PSA – PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT): There’s no way you can move FORWARD holding onto OLD BAGGAGE!  Sometimes, God is calling you, AWAY, and OUT!  Before He can BLESS you, He wants to see are you willing to TRUST HIM enough to let it go?

    Today’s Scriptures:

Genesis 12:1-4 | New Living Translation

    (1) The LORD had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. I will make you into a great nation. (2)I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. (3) I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.” (4) So Abram departed as the LORD had instructed, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.

  • In Corporate America, we see that if you have a leadership position, it automatically comes with a level of authority, that is, the ability to enforce, to implement, to structure certain elements of the work environment.

So it is in The Kingdom of God.

God placed us a little lower than the angels. He calls us His children. He anointed our heads with oil that everything we will ever attain, will run over!

God gives us a position that says we can come boldly before Him with our requests. God gives us the ability to change the atmosphere, to change our surroundings, if and only if, we have faith and believe that His Word is true!

He said that we can call things into existence! He says that we are above and not beneath!

God places you in a position to petition Him. Will you walk in your power today?

No condemnation to them that believe! No weapon formed shall prosper! Your enemies must subject to the power of God!

Anyone believe The Word if God? Claim your position.

    Today’s Scripture:

Romans 8:31 NIV | New International Version

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

  • People of God,

If we trust God, in 2020, there are miraculous blessings that shall overtake us! We have no time to waste on stress, depression, anxiety, disbelief, lack of faith nor hopelessness. The God of Our Salvation is standing at our doors, knocking.  Will you let God in?

Are you tired of just existing, just going through the motions and not seeing results? We must get on it! Get on what, you ask? Praying, fasting, worshipping and praising God before we see the manifestationIn fact, before manifestation there must be expectation!  If you take time out for God, He will take time out for you! Study His Word to pray His Word.

God moves at the mention of His Divine Word; it is The Living Word.  TRY IT!

    Today’s Scriptures:

Revelation 3:20 NIV | New International Version

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

Deuteronomy 30:9 NLT | New Living Translation

“The LORD your God will then make you successful in everything you do. He will give you many children and numerous livestock, and he will cause your fields to produce abundant harvests, for the LORD will again delight in being good to you as he was to your ancestors.

Jeremiah 1:12 NIV | New International Version

The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching[a] to see that my word is fulfilled.”

Jeremiah 29:11 CEB | Common English Bible

I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope.

  • People of God,

It’s important for us to move into position for God to do miraculous things, in our lives!

We must be willing to trust God, with our whole heart, asking Him to help our unbelief.

Because we are saved, God equipped us with potential to progress. When we read, study, and meditate on His Word, which should be coupled with praise and worship, we activate progress.

Potential without progress causes us to stay in the same position, the same bad relationships, the same bad habits.

Allowing God to be our guide, to give us His instructions, makes us operable within His Will, going from having potential to having progress.

Activating your potential will take some work. It’s not easy. Making time for Christ is imperative for Spiritual and mental growth.

Choose to walk in God’s light and take ownership of the new life that He wants to give you.

    Today’s Scriptures:

    Psalms 119:18, 33-37, 73, 88 GW | God’s Word Translation

“Uncover my eyes so that I may see the miraculous things in your teachings.

Teach me, O LORD, how to live by your laws, and I will obey them to the end. Help me understand so that I can follow your teachings. I will guard them with all my heart. Lead me on the path of your commandments, because I am happy with them. Direct my heart toward your written instructions rather than getting rich in underhanded ways. Turn my eyes away from worthless things. Give me a new life in your ways.

Your hands created me and made me what I am. Help me understand so that I may learn your commandments.

Give me a new life through your mercy so that I may obey the written instructions, ⌊which came⌋ from your mouth.”

  • Comprehensive insurance is important to have because it covers damages that happen to your car when things happen that you didn’t have control over, like a car fire, theft or bad weather damages.

When something happens, you can file an insurance claim. Because you have comprehensive coverage, your insurance company will send out an agent to assess the damages.  They will take notes and pictures to get your claim started.  At that point, they tell you that you’re covered and issue a check to you to fix your car.

So it is, in The Kingdom of God.  God covers you when the enemy comes in and steals your hope, your faith.  When fake friends steal from you, lie to you, backstab you, talk about you, it is Our God that comes in and provides comprehensive coverage.  God sends Jesus to our rescue.  He dispatches His Holy angels to assess the damages, like a broken heart.  The Holy Spirit comes in to provide direction, through the damage.

When something happens in your life that you had no control over, you can go to God and file for your coverage.  God says to remind Him of His Word and that His Word never comes back to Him, incomplete.  He tells us that He doesn’t lie and that He will rescue us, vindicate us.  All we have to do is go to Him, in prayer, with faith.  We can use our comprehensive coverage, the blood of Jesus covers us!

What’s covered?  God says that He will give you back everything that the enemy has stolen and that He will repay those who have wronged you.  It’s all in His Divine comprehensive insurance, which is assurance that He won’t let your enemies triumph over you when you are obedient.  This is why God has delivered you out of the hand of the enemy!

God assessed the damages and decided that you have the victory, despite all of the troubles you have had, and will face, in this life.  Your destiny is determined by His love for you. You’re covered!

    Today’s Scriptures:

Psalm 41:11 NLT | New Living Translation

I know you are pleased with me, for you have not let my enemies triumph over me.

Deuteronomy 30:4-5, 7-8 NIV | New International Version

    (4) Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the Lord your God will gather you and bring you back. (5) He will bring you to the land that belonged to your ancestors, and you will take possession of it. (7) The Lord your God will put all these curses on your enemies who hate and persecute you. (8) You will again obey the Lord and follow all his commands I am giving you today. 9 Then the Lord your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land.

Romans 12:14, 19 KJV | King James Version

    (14) Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. (19) Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Joel 2:25 CEB | Common English Bible

I will repay you for the years that the cutting locust, the swarming locust, the hopping locust, and the devouring locust have eaten – my great army, which I sent against you.

  • People of God,

Our God is always accepting patients! His roster is open and you are eligible to be seen.

Don’t you know that the very thing that you are needing to be healed from is already accessible?  The copay requires you to want the healing and desire to leave THE DOCTOR with the healing that you are desperately seeking!  God has dispatched His Angels to bring you the antidote.

Confusion and dismay plague our communities; it is running rampant in our lives! People are desiring the love of the enemy versus The Love of Christ, which is causing the crime rate to be astronomical.  We have turned away from the original Teachings of God.  We have failed to listen to the warnings that have been given, by God’s prophets.  Therefore, here we are, in a position of disparity, but this is not the end.

God is ready to release a healing in the land!

God reminds us that if we would only turn back to Him, seek Him through prayer, seek Him in reading The Holy Word, hang up some old habits and clear a path for restoration, a path for relief, thus, a path for healing, then and only then, will He come in and heal us; He will heal the land!

For those of us who are serious about needing God to come in and change, save the day, we are needing to commit, to dedicate our beings, to follow Christ.  We must be in prayer.  We must concentrate on Christ, His ability, to save the day!  He’s just waiting on us to make the appointment, to show up for the appointment, in expectation, having applied our copay of faith and prayer. Then, God, Himself, will cover the rest! You will leave the appointment, changed, for the better!

    Today’s Scriptures:

2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV | King James Version

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Jeremiah 8:18-22 CEB | Common English Bible

    No healing,
    only grief;
    my heart is broken.[e]
19 Listen to the weeping of my people
    all across the land:
    “Isn’t the Lord in Zion?
Is her king no longer there?”
Why then did they anger me with their images,
    with pointless foreign gods?
    20 “The harvest is past,
    the summer has ended,
    yet we aren’t saved.”
21 Because my people are crushed,
    I am crushed;
    darkness and despair overwhelm me.

What to do with God’s people

22 Is there no balm in Gilead?
    Is there no physician there?
    Why then have my people
    not been restored to health?

  • People of God,

You don’t walk alone! The Lord, Your God, Our God, walks with us!

We can’t get relief, from God, until we release it all over to Him!

This is important to remember because life can through some hard punches.  Life can make us feel as though God has forgotten about us BUT I DECLARE THAT THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD IS HERE TO BRING YOU RELEASE AND RELIEF!

Our God is willing to do exceedingly and abundantly, ABOVE ALL! Our God is able to take a little bit and turn it into more than enough!

Don’t give up! Whoever and where you are, today! Don’t give up! Don’t quit! Keep pressing! Keep going forward. There’s absolutely nothing that God cannot do! What He has promised, it will come to pass in your life!

    Oh Lord,

We need You, today! Oh, how we need You, Father! We need You to come in, with a fresh wind! We need You to breathe LIFE into us! We need You to restore, to release, and to bring relief. In The Name of Jesus!  I decree that I won’t look back! I will run towards You, with all that I have! For in You, I find healing.  It is in You, I find strength!  It’s in You that I find deliverance! Your Word says that You are able to do, exceedingly and abundantly above so God prove now, for YOUR WORD works in our lives! Your Word is true! Move miraculously in the lives of Your People.  For You, Oh God, call us by our names.  God, we lay our burdens, at Your feet!  We RELEASE IT ALL TO YOU AND WE PICK UP YOUR RELIEF! This prayer is signed, sealed, and delivered to You, through Jesus The Christ, Amen.

    Today’s Scriptures:

Isaiah 40:31 CEV | Contemporary English Version

But those who trust the Lord
    will find new strength.
They will be strong like eagles
    soaring upward on wings;
    they will walk and run
    without getting tired.

Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJV | New King James Version

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him beglory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Isaiah 43:7 NIV | New International Version

everyone who is called by my name,
whom I created for my glory,
    whom I formed and made.”
