"Empowering People to Get From Where They Are to Where They're DESTINED." – Jeremiah 29:11

  • Look, quite frankly, the enemy is no match to Our God.  You have to know within your heart that God is willing to if you are willing too….exercise the authority given to you as His child

He has always come through and this storm will not last!  He loves us and wants to be everything we need but we have to be willing to get into His Word, LEARN it, and as result GIVE HIM THANKS

No, nothing can come against us and be victorious over us because; it will come but He will protect and safeguard us from it. This is not saying you won’t ever go through trials…keyword is “through” which in this context I’m saying you are actively moving through the high winds and rushing rain …moving through because it signifies there will be an end to it.  Praise God!

    Peace and Blessings to You.

    Today’s Scriptures:

Isaiah 54:17 |New Living Translation (NLT)

But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord;  their vindication will come from me.  I, the Lord, have spoken!

Psalm 121:5 |King James Version (KJV)

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

  • Working 8 or more hours a day is sometimes strenuous and overwhelming. I’m learning that money is not everything; I’m gonna have bills until I die, so with that in mind I need to focus my attention on work that doesn’t consume an entire 24 hours. Leave work at work and if you can’t seem to do that, you need to change positions…it’s not worth stressing your mind, body and soul out for.  Find work that fulfills you but doesn’t become s threat to your health.

    Consider.

Once we find the good working environment we are more likely to not be so exhausted and start enjoying life outside of work.  Just start looking in that direction and there will be endless possibilities even with work being your responsibility.

I pray this thought encourages you. Blessings and Peace Abide in and with you!

  • I am not afraid to admit that I need to grow in Christ.  I realize that in order to truly be “Christian,” I must be willing to allow Jesus to pour into my Spirit, giving me “spiritual milk.”  So many times we are distressed, depressed, strained, constrained, locked up in our issues that we do not allow Jesus to feed us while we are going through things in life that seem to be oppressing us; weighing us down with the feeling of hopelessness.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the Church of Corinth to urge them to put aside their sinful nature and allow Jesus Christ to fill that space.  I get so caught up in the problems I face that I do not allow opportunity for Jesus to come rescue me because I forget to PRAISE!  Jesus loves our praise and it is a language that the enemy cannot understand.

I urge you, as I am urging myself, to stop and PRAISE in the middle of the storm I am facing…the winds blow so hard sometimes in our lives, that we are consumed by the problem and thus we take our eyes off the Holy Spirit that lives in the soul of the Christian.  PRAISE opens the door to God’s helpdesk.  PRAISE causes one to consider how awesome and wonderful Jesus has been to us.

It is proven, if God brought me out the last storm, He WILL surely show up and work out the storm I am in, now.  Open the gate of your depressed, broken down, heart with PRAISE to Our God in spite of the problem, we do know the PROBLEM-SOLVER, Jesus The Christ.

PRAISE!  Let us acknowledge our sins and pray God’s forgiveness. Let us crave the nurturing of The Holy Spirit that leads us into The Truth.  We are heirs with Jesus Christ.  Just because your breakthrough hasn’t happened yet…PRAISE anyways!  Watch and Wait because He will come to your rescue.  We can’t and will not stay the same if we allow Jesus to mature us in Him.  We have to grow up in Christ and stop letting the enemy control how we feel when we are going through stuff!

    Today’s Scriptures:

Psalm 90:17 English Standard Version “Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!”

1 Corinthians 3:2-3 New International Version “Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly—mere infants in Christ. 2I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. 3You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans?”

  • This book is designed to empower and inspire women.  It looks at some common experiences and life issues that some of us as women have overcome, still in process of overcoming, and wanting to change our circumstances.

Tune in. This is not for super saints, those women who feel like they have none of these issues or have never went through these things…

  • I declare VICTORY over this situation. Yeah, I am not exempt from having difficult times.  Difficult times don’t always mean a person is broke, depends on how you look at the it, you still can’t fool yourself.  Broken heart…broke as meaning no money

Life is not over! I hope you check out this powerful song.  I believe that some of you have been right-on-the-cusp of giving up.

You turned to your friends, they weren’t what you needed. You turned to your family, they were so busy in their own messes, they couldn’t be what you needed.

Then you called on Our God, the Maker and Creator of us; the Healer, the Redeemer, The Deliverer! and He is at the cusp with you, pulling you back from the ledge.  You will not die! You will live!

Do not think everyone that smiles or looks like they up, that doesn’t mean they are not broken down inside.

Pray and God will answer! HE WILL ANSWER!  Sometimes you got to give God a praise out of sacrifice…which means telling yourself “I know I am having a rough time, it’s not like God hasn’t been gracious to me, but it feels like I can’t open my mouth to pray; but God still deserves my praise.”

    Today’s Scripture:

Psalm 50:15 ESV “and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”

Job 33:19-28 NIV “Or someone may be chastened on a bed of pain with constant distress in their bones, so that their body finds food repulsive, and their soul loathes the choicest meal. Their flesh wastes away to nothing, and their bones, once hidden, now stick out. They draw near to the pit, and their life to the messengers of death.Yet if there is an angel at their side, a messenger, one out of a thousand, sent to tell them how to be upright, and he is gracious to that person and says to God, ‘Spare them from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom for them— let their flesh be renewed like a child’s; let them be restored as in the days of their youth’— then that person can pray to God and find favor with him, they will see God’s face and shout for joy; he will restore them to full well-being. And they will go to others and say, ‘I have sinned, I have perverted what is right, but I did not get what I deserved. God has delivered me from going down to the pit,and I shall live to enjoy the light of life.’

  • The Bible tells of Jesus being the root for all who believe in Him.  We, Christians, are the branches of Jesus’ tree.

The most important thing to note is that the “root” is what gives life to the tree (Jesus) and its branches (us).  In gardening, if the root is not planted properly deep within the soil, the tree will not grow properly and will not be as strong; if not planted properly, the tree is weak.

In order for us to grow and mature in Christ, we must have Christ in our hearts.  His Word must be implanted and deeply rooted within us so that we know which way to go in this life.  Life hits us with some many unexpected situations that sometimes it is hard to keep focus when all you seem to be going through tests your faith to the nth degree.  Since we are the branches, we should remember how God gives freely to us and pours His grace and mercy on us.  We have to take the Word that is stored in our hearts and use it in our minds to make sound decisions as Jesus directs our daily lives.

God’s faithfulness towards us is what keeps our branch from tearing off the tree in hard struggles, thus thunderstorms in our lives.

So, I challenge us to constantly read and know His Word, through His Holy Bible.

I must clear the air because some Christians feel that they do not need to use The Bible because it has been written and re-written in the days of old.  I ask you, how then shall we know God’s Will for us, what He requires of us, how we have access and the authority He has given us if we do not pick of His Holy Bible?

The Bible is compared to a road map and/or a instruction guide to your life. It is no different that the instructions on how to put a piece of furniture together.  You can try to disregard the instruction manual, but you run the risk of not putting the bookcase together properly.  You may be able to build it and feel no instructions are necessary, but trust me, if its something like a piece of furniture from IKEA, then you and I both know that if you don’t have the proper tools and follow the instructions to the “T,” the piece of furniture will not turn out to last.

So it is with reading The Bible.  You cannot read the Bible without asking God to show you how to properly interpret what He is saying within it.  You can’t read it like its a novel, you have to want to read it like your life depends on it, on Him.  We can’t know the instructions or direction our lives should be going if we do not pick up His Word and ask Him for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.

The Challenge: Pray to God, through Jesus the Christ, and the Holy Spirit will pray for you. Pray that you gain wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.  Allow Jesus to minister to your Spirit so that you may be able to endure the hardships and withstand the temptations that come to us expectantly and unexpectedly.

    Today’s Scriptures:

John 15:5-8 NIV | New International Version

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Jeremiah 17: 8  NIV | New International Version

“They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

Psalm 1:3 NLT | New Living Translation

They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.
