"Empowering People to Get From Where They Are to Where They're DESTINED." – Jeremiah 29:11

  • Things may get a little rocky in this life.

Turbulence is sure to happen sometime.

Troubles you are facing will come to an end! They will not last, always!

There is a brighter day! Are you looking for it?

Do not wallow in self-pity…let God pick you up in His HOLY Spirit!

The thing about God is this: when it feels like the weight of our circumstance is heavy, so heavy that you feel you can’t hold them up, God says to give it over to Him. Don’t you know that He fights for you? Be strong in Him. You are equipped to handle this! This will not break you! You will conquer it! You can make it through this!

Lean into God so you can see His strength!

There are so many scriptures in my heart today about this very thing.

Listen, the only way to know God’s Word is to READ His WORD….you cannot fight a battle if you don’t know who’s on your team and who you opponent is!

Greater is He that lives within me, God is our STRENGTH! Be encouraged today! Wait on Him because He does hear and He does answer! Call out to Him. Give it over to Him. Wait and Watch for Him to come in and fix you situation!  BELIEVE GOD and BELIEVE in God!

    Today’s Scriptures:

“The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.”

    Psalms 34:17-20, 22 KJV

  • What are you willing to give?

Whether it be money, your time, the gifts God has given you…we must be willing to share with those who are in need of some of the things we have….our purpose in this life is geared towards us maturing in Christ but also is about what we can give to His people. We have to be liberal in our giving and not be selfish.

If someone is hungry, feed them. Yes, telling them you will pray for them is good but what they are needing at that moment is for you to feed them then pray for them.

Let’s not try to avoid helping in accordance to what a person needs and if we can’t help, we can get them in contact with someone who can help.

Willing to help, willing to give without attachments and knowing that when we give as unto the Lord, Our God is pleased and He will give as He decides.

    Today’s Scripture:

    2 Corinthians 9: 6-15 English Standard Version

6The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifullyd will also reap bountifully. 7Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiencye in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. 9As it is written,

    “He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor;

    his righteousness endures forever.”

10He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. 11You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. 12For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God. 13By their approval of this service, theyf will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others, 14while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you. 15Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!

  • Focus on improving yourself. Sometimes we try to get in the way and try to fix people but we are not equipped to do so. That’s God’s arena. If yo’ man ain’t doin what he should do, move on. Don’t waste time on things that you cannot change but one person you can focus on is yourself. You have to know when it’s quitting time! Bow out. Not your job to fix them, him, her….

  • The enemy wants to distract you so much so that if he can cause you to take your eyes off the fact that God has always been there and always came through for you. At the moment you feel like you are consumed by all that’s going on in your life, pause. Just stop and think about your past victories.  Stop to examine your life and see that you have never been left alone.  God has made a way before and He is the same God, so He will make a way AGAIN.  If God said He wouldn’t leave you, yes it’s in His Word, then no matter what we face we are not alone and all our trials are doing is making way for a brand new testimony.  Your testimony is what will drive you through this! Your testimony is one of your devices, use it to your advantage!

    Today’s Scriptures:

    Deuteronomy 31:6 NLT

“So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”

    James 1:3 NLT
For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.

    Romans 8:28-31 KJV

28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. 34Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

  • Believers of Christ, we have to be conscious that not everything we think we are hiding from the world is actually hiding!

For this reason, we shouldn’t judge other people and try to measure how well we think they are behaving as a Christian.  We cannot bring people to the light of Christ acting like we don’t have some of the same problems that non-believers struggle with….this life is not easy and trouble does hit Christians in the same way it hits nonbelievers….sin hits us all…which is the reason Christ died for us and now we have Him to forgive the believers and guide our ways; keeping us, growing, grooming, maturing us so that we can change from the habits of sin and be free in Him.  Sin has no boundary….in the same way, God has no boundary…When we are willing to submit to His Will, our Will becomes subjected to His DIVINE authority in our lives!

Truth be told, Christians battle with being “addicts,” too!  We are constantly in a battle to overcome the fleshly desires and take on the attributes of a sin-LESS Father & Savior.

If you really want to carry out the will of God and spread the Gospel, we have to show that we are not exempt from weakness and things that cause us to stumble.  The difference is that as a Christian, we have the ability to go to Christ, in sincerity, confess our sins and He is faithful to forgive.  When we do this action, God sees our hearts and our motives are directed towards the light and not the darkness.  We got to be 1-hunid!  We need God everyday in this life!  We have the testimony that we have overcome some sin, but NOT ALL SIN, we have to be mindful that in order to help folk, we have to show them who Helps Us!  We have to show that in our weakness, He has and will be our strength!  We have to show that we are tempted and do still struggle with taking off fleshly desires!

My halo is half-tilted!  I got some struggles that God has to deliver me from, Him and only Him.  He has a time for everything, if I keep in His Word, He shows me where I fall or where I could easily fall! He also shows a way out!  Don’t lie to yourself! You in the same boat. Don’t fool yourself!

God, I thank you for Your Forgiveness!  At the same time, thank You for Your Grace & Mercy!  Thank you for not letting me die in my sin!  Thank You for Jesus Christ!  Where I am weak, You are STRONG!  You know my heart! My heart desires You! Help my mind to be the same! In Jesus Name, Amen.

    Today’s Scriptures:

Proverbs 16:2 NIV “All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the LORD.”

Psalm 51:1 NLT “Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins.”

Romans 12:2 WEB “Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.”

Ephesians 4:21-25 NIV “When you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.”

  • Sometimes our flesh wants to hold on to things that were never meant to be in our lives forever and we must not try to defy what is not God’s will that relationships last longer He feels it should. God saw it necessary in that to teach us a lesson in every relationship that comes and goes or even stays.

We have to pay attention even when paying attention to what we should do and see is not the most popular opinion in and on our minds, at that time.

Trying to prolong what is to be short-lived can and will cause us heartache. This is apparent in some of our personal experiences on Earth.
    Today’s Scripture:

“Everything has its own time, and there is a specific time for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pull out what was planted, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build up, a time to cry and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to hug and a time to stop hugging, a time to start looking and a time to stop looking, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear apart and a time to sew together, a time to keep quiet and a time to speak out, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.”
