"Empowering People to Get From Where They Are to Where They're DESTINED." – Jeremiah 29:11

  • We all know that cars have what is known as a “reserve” tank. A reserve tank is nestled within the larger gas tank to be used when or if the car is low on gas. The reserve acts as a safety net by which it compensates, that is, provides a cushion for the driver because it gives them a little bit more time to get to the gas station when low on fuel. The reserve tank becomes an anchor, a catalyst of sorts, because without it the car runs the risk of stopping; the engine would lock up. The car is of no use without gas as a key component. Follow me.
It is so important to us, as Christians, to fill up our hearts and minds (faith as a key component) so that when depression surfaces, when fear and strongholds come in to collapse our souls and disrupt peace, the reserve acts as a means of rejuvenation and restoration.
The reserve has faith in it, strength in it, security in it and joy in it. It’s accessible in times of confusion and broken-heartedness. It acts as the connection we need to God, through Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit. It’s accessible. It sustains us and breathes in us again when we needed resuscitation because life’s problems felt like they stopped the oxygen, THE BLOOD flow in my veins.
How do we fill up our Spiritual Reserve?
Through practicing faith through the application of The Word of God. The exercising of faith in dim and dark circumstances, which are presented as what The Bible calls “trials and tribulations.” We need to study God’s Word to nurture our relationship with God and to know our rights and responsibilities as His Children, His chosen generation. It is this daily combination of prayer, praise, worship, and study that fills up our reserve; it’s personal.

The Psalmist, David, said himself that he would have gave up but he saw the miraculous works, the blessings of God manifest for him and others. He saw God show up to provide where there was no hope.

    Have you accessed your reserve?
There have been times in my life I depended on my faith in God to carry me through. I had faith and strength I didn’t know I had, in my reserve. I regained a joy of living and a refreshed outlook that God is and was there for me through all life’s journey because I had stored up some faith for hard times, in my Spiritual Reserve.
Spiritual EXPERIENCE: Focus on training your heart and mind in the things of Christ. Study more than you ever studied before, pray more than you have ever prayed before. Praise and worship more than you ever have before and expect the manifestation of God because He inhabits the praises of His people; it gets God’s attention and causes Him to fulfill His promises to you.

God has exponential, unlimited power to change your life! Build your Spiritual reserve. Speak over yourself and proclaim the authority of The Lord over your life.

    Today’s Scriptures:

    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27:13-14‬ ‭GW | God’s Word Translation
“I believe that I will see the goodness of the LORD in this world of the living. Wait with hope for the LORD. Be strong, and let your heart be courageous. Yes, wait with hope for the LORD.”
    ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1:7-9‬ ‭CEB‬‬ | Common English Bible
“Be very brave and strong as you carefully obey all of the Instruction that Moses my servant commanded you. Don’t deviate even a bit from it, either to the right or left. Then you will have success wherever you go. Never stop speaking about this Instruction scroll. Recite it day and night so you can carefully obey everything written in it. Then you will accomplish your objectives and you will succeed. I’ve commanded you to be brave and strong, haven’t I? Don’t be alarmed or terrified, because the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
    Isaiah‬ ‭43:1-2, 13‬ ‭NLT | New Living Translation
“But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
“From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.”
  • If you need healing, that is, healing from sickness, healing of a broken heart, a crushed Spirit, God’s saying “Here I am to hear you and to answer you according to My will for you,” Amen.

If you need deliverance from a stronghold (haters, people or things), freedom from something or someone that is binding you to a sin(s), keeping you stagnate -holding you back, God says, “Here I am to hear you and answer you according to My will for you,” Amen.

If you need restoration because something has weighed you down for so long and you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired, God is saying “Here I am to hear and to answer you according to My will for you,” Amen.

Whatever you need, God IS! All you need to do is cry out to Him and give your burdens to Him. Why? Because He is able to do it. He doesn’t fix it because you are or have been so good; we are not worthy, but He who IS has the ability to change your situation because God supplies grace & mercy. Truth. Amen.

Sometimes God puts you in a situation, a dilemma, so that He corners you so that you can only trust Him because nothing else has worked, no one else has worked. He does this to get the glory out of it and to establish you in Him. He supplies grace and mercy; favor. Amen.

All God’s People respond to the truth by saying Amen.

    Today’s Scriptures:

Ephesians 3:20 KJV | King James Version

20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Jude 1: 24-25 KJV | King James Version

24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

1 John 4:4 CEV | Contemporary English Version

Children, you belong to God, and you have defeated these enemies. God’s Spirit is in you and is more powerful than the one who is in the world.

  • People of God, we need to focus on Our God who is able to do magnificent things and perform miraculous experiences in our lives. God desires that He gets glory out of any situation. This means that God will make a way out of no way if we release our problems to Him and not let them be a barrier or a burden that we try to carry alone.

We have to know and rest assure that Our God defeated the enemy so we have no reason to fear, as His children, because He watches over us; He never sleeps. He has angels surrounding us so as we enter the storm and as we go through the storm It teaches us discipline (obedience) and we strengthen our faith through life experiences.

We have to stop acting as if we don’t know the power that’s in the Name of Jesus! Every person and everything is subject to God.

Today, let’s keep in mind to cast our cares on Him and to release that issue, that burden, the weight (strongholds) to Him. We also need to ask for forgiveness so our prayers are not hindered. We have to study His Word so we know how to operate as a King’s Kid.

Finally, there is evidence in God’s Holy Word that He keeps us when we are ENTERING a storm, while we are going THROUGH the storm, and AFTER the storm. God gives unmerited favor those who have accepted Him as Lord over there life; those who are determined to turn away from sin and follow Christ completely.

God doesn’t want seasonal people (those who only call on God because something bad has happened or they call when they need something and never say thank you to God). God doesn’t need part-time people (those who just praise and worship Him at church and never thinks about worshipping and praising Him through the week. We need to avoid being lazy and get into His Word and fellowship with God.

    Today’s Scriptures:

Psalm 91:11 KJV | King James Version

“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

Psalm 121:2,5,8 CEB | Common English Bible

“My help comes from the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth. The LORD is your protector; the LORD is your shade right beside you. The LORD will protect you on your journeys— whether going or coming— from now until forever from now.”

    http://bible.com/37/psa.121.2,5,8.ceb

    Hebrews 11:6 GW | God’s Word Translation

“No one can please God without faith. Whoever goes to God must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

  • People of God,

We shouldn’t forget that a devoted relationship with God allows us to operate in religion, not because we are righteous without God, but that God made us righteous through the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ. Church should be a place where people find refuge and not a place where people point out others sin and don’t provide them any help to stop sinning and work towards becoming better, in Christ, as Christ would have us to act amongst believers and unbelievers. We should be bringing folk in and not ushering the needy out. Amen.

Since Christianity is a lifestyle, one can safely argue that therefore strength is drawn from Christians and relief is there for those who decide to yield to God, submit and cry out to God, making it an intimate and very personal relationship that allows God’s anointing to run freely in our lives, which flow into The House of God (Church).

The House of God is a place for the broken to bear witness to those Christians whose chains have been broken and who are delivered because of the relationship with God and because of God’s acts of kindness and faithfulness. His kindness and faithfulness is supernatural, a supernatural experience by way of The Holy Spirit, that is exercised or illuminated through the praise and worship of His People (Christians – We are the church). Amen.

A relationship with Christ allows for religion, a very regimented diet. A diet that emphasizes Christ as God, who has all authority and who is The God and Lord of the House (relatively and figuratively). Focus is on healing and not hurting. The focus is freedom from the chains of oppression and depression; a place of release and refreshment. It isn’t a place for monetary profits. Amen.

Let us draw in and not draw out those who have not yet professed a hope in Christ. Let us not draw away Christians who have extraordinary gifts from God and let us make room for us to freely worship Christ and not have to worry about “church hurt” because it has stopped the flow of The Holy Spirit in The House of God. Draw in and not draw out. Amen.

The Spiritual Church is within the Christians’ soul and breathes life and purpose into their flesh (physical). The physical church is also the sanctuary (brick and mortar). Let us choose to operate in obedience to The Most High God, letting the service (religion) be a place of edification and consecration, both as a whole and through personal experience (time with God). Finally, let us be a help and not a hinderance; “seeking The Kingdom of God and His righteousness…” @Matthew 6:33a

    Today’s Scripture:

1 Thessalonians 5:19-25 KJV | King James Version

19 Quench not the Spirit. 20 Despise not prophesyings. 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. 25 Brethren, pray for us.

1 Thessalonians 5:19-25 CEB | Common English Bible

19 Don’t suppress the Spirit. 20 Don’t brush off Spirit-inspired messages, 21 but examine everything carefully and hang on to what is good. 22 Avoid every kind of evil. 23 Now, may the God of peace himself cause you to be completely dedicated to him; and may your spirit, soul, and body be kept intact and blameless at our Lord Jesus Christ’s coming. 24 The one who is calling you is faithful and will do this. 25 Brothers and sisters, pray for us.

Mark 2:17 NLT | New Living Translation

When Jesus heard this, he told them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor–sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”

  • “So, brothers and sisters, because of God’s mercies, I encourage you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice that is holy and pleasing to God. This is your appropriate priestly service. Don’t be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you can figure out what God’s will is—what is good and pleasing and mature.”

    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭CEB‬‬

    STD = Spiritually Transmitted Deliverance

    VD = Victory & Deliverance

Did you know that we worship God with our bodies. We defile God with our bodies and instead of living life honoring Him with our words and our actions.

We also try to pimp God; we only want God when we want something. We just want Him to be a weekend lover! Stop trying to just use God. He wants your time. He wants your devotion and dedication. How can you get delivered if you want Him to be your part-time lover?

Let’s focus on our relationship with God; God wants you to learn that He is your all. He wants to give your overwhelming victory and deliverance from the demons of this world.

God applies help every single time we call on Him. He rescues us after our repentance and delivers us out because of his grace and mercy. The Bible tells us that He will deliver His people. His Word also tells us that in order to worship Him you must worship in Spirit and in truth.

We must deal within God’s Holy Spirit in order to received Spiritually (medically) necessary prescriptions (God’s instructions) and be revived so that what God fills our Spirit within the Spirit Realm will manifest into the natural. Do what God says and you will experience supernatural breakthroughs.

So, get your deliverance and receive the victory through The Spirit of The Living God.

Finally, remember God has Spiritual Resurrection, that is rejuvenation, deliverance, renewed/revived Spirit, mended heart, rescued in mental stability. God delivers us through Jesus Christ.

    Today’s Scriptures:

John 10:10 CEB | Common English Bible

“The thief enters only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came so that they could have life—indeed, so that they could live life to the fullest.”

    1 Corinthians 15:57 GW | God’s Word Translation

“Thank God that he gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

    ‭‭

    Jeremiah‬ ‭15:19-21‬ ‭GNT‬‬ | Good News Translation

“To this the Lord replied, “If you return, I will take you back, and you will be my servant again. If instead of talking nonsense you proclaim a worthwhile message, you will be my prophet again. The people will come back to you, and you will not need to go to them. I will make you like a solid bronze wall as far as they are concerned. They will fight against you, but they will not defeat you. I will be with you to protect you and keep you safe. I will rescue you from the power of wicked and violent people. I, the Lord, have spoken.”

Galatians 2:20-21 NLT | New Living Translation

“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.”

Psalms 3:1-8 NLT | New Living Translation

“O Lord, I have so many enemies; so many are against me. So many are saying, “God will never rescue him!” Interlude But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. I cried out to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy mountain. Interlude I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me. I am not afraid of ten thousand enemies who surround me on every side. Arise, O Lord! Rescue me, my God! Slap all my enemies in the face! Shatter the teeth of the wicked! Victory comes from you, O Lord. May you bless your people. Interlude”

    ‭‭

  • People of God,
The only promises that are guaranteed to be followed through are the ones that Our Father has signed, sealed, and delivered to you. You can bank on Him fulfilling His promises to you whereas those promises made by your friends, family, and mates may fall short or be empty, may bring you despair and calamity.

Learn to trust God’s process! God will not give you a blessing that you are not prepared to hold on to. God equips us to handle, to sustain the blessings He has for us. They don’t come too early or too late. They are on time, every time!

His promises are His faithfulness shown to His people because He loves to provide for us. They bring glory to Him, which is rightfully due to Him. You didn’t earn it and you weren’t approved for it, so the enemy says, but God overwrites and overrules; God has the final say.

No matter how hard it gets nor how many hills and valleys (ups and downs) you experience, it’s all worth it because you are destined to get the blessings that God has stored up for you.  No, God doesn’t owe us anything, but God gives gifts to those Christians who uphold righteousness far more than others, to which He is the judge–Psalm 45:7; Hebrews 1:9; Isaiah 61:3.

Isaiah 61:3 Berean Study Bible | to provide for those who grieve in Zion—to give them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise in place of a spirit of despair. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.

Bank on God’s promises because He will never have non-sufficient funds. Bless God.

    Today’s Scriptures:

Psalm 27:3 AMP | Amplified Bible

Though an army encamp against me,
My heart will not fear; Though war arise against me,
Even in this I am confident.

Isaiah 43:1-4 MSG | The Message

    But now, God’s Message,
the God who made you in the first place, Jacob,
the One who got you started, Israel:
“Don’t be afraid, I’ve redeemed you.
I’ve called your name. You’re mine.
When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you.
When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down.
When you’re between a rock and a hard place,
it won’t be a dead end—
Because I am God, your personal God,
The Holy of Israel, your Savior.
I paid a huge price for you:
all of Egypt, with rich Cush and Seba thrown in!
That’s how much you mean to me!
That’s how much I love you!
I’d sell off the whole world to get you back,
trade the creation just for you.

Philippians 1:6 NIV | New International Version

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Jeremiah 1:12 AMP | Amplified Bible

Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am [actively] watching over My word to fulfill it.”

  • In God’s Shadow (covering) there is:

    • Protection
    • Deliverance
    • Peace
    • Grace & Mercy
    • Strength
    • Unconditional love
    • Discernment
    • Sound Mind
    • Ministering Angels
    • Joy
    • Salvation
    • Courage
    • Provision
    • Direction
    • Victory
    • No Condemnation

Spiritual Exercise:  For Bible readers, immediately as God was giving me what to write, God gave me Scriptures that pertain to these elements of His Shadow.  I started to think about my past and present victories.

The Lord will reveal to you through reading His Living Word and through life experiences.

For instance, when I see the word “peace” I am reminded that in times of confusion and uncertainty, stress and turmoil, God supplied “peace and protection.”  He kept my heart and mind.  I could smile in the midst of hard times. I recall times where money was tight and bills were like a mountain, God sustained me and brought me out.

    People of God,

When life is hard and it feels like it’s taking a long time for God to come, rest assure He is coming and when He comes, He brings you everything you need.  Equip your heart and mind because we war against all things that try to exalt themselves above God.  Being dressed for battle is vital; our life depends on the Armour of God.  God will rescue you.  Wait in expectation! God watches over His Word to perform it.

Yes, God will fulfill the promises that He has made to you.

    Today’s Scriptures:

Psalm 91:1 ESV | English Standard Version

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

Psalm 27:5 AMP | Amplified Bible

    For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter;
    In the secret place of His tent He will hide me;
He will lift me up on a rock.

Psalm 31:20-21 NLT |New Living Translation

20 You hide them in the shelter of your presence, safe from those who conspire against them. You shelter them in your presence, far from accusing tongues.

21 Praise the Lord, for He has shown me the wonders of his unfailing love. He kept me safe when my city was under attack.

  • There are paths we wish that God had not taken us down.  Some of those paths we view as a misfortune or mishap, God making a mistake, even though we know deep down inside that He doesn’t make mistakes.  Some things are just very hard to swallow.  This week, the world is crying out to God, praying for the families of the victims of the duck boat accident that happened in Missouri.  Tia Coleman has experienced terrible tragedy that no one quite has the words for her, but it is evident that The Lord is on her side, providing comfort that only He provides.

Now is the time that we put our faith into action and pray our prayers in faith, asking God to do what none of us can do, which is to be her true Comforter, her true Strength, not just today, but every day moving forward.  We also are asking God, Our Lord, to keep her heart and mind.

Some Christians would argue that you don’t question God, but the real truth is that we question God, if not externally, we question Him internally.  We ask only in hopes that The Lord will reveal to us His plan, from this point (tragedy) and onward.  Listen, God can’t lie (Numbers 23:19a) or go back on His Word (Isaiah 55:11); this means that regardless of the tragedy, God still plans to do us good and not evil (Jeremiah 29:11).

Think about it, in Jeremiah 29:11, the latter half says, “an expected end,” which signifies that God already knew that we would leave this world, in His timing.  God has a timestamp on all of our lives and when our name is called, our Spirit answers to God, yes Lord. Exiting this world is Spiritual because our souls leave our earthly bodies; our earthly bodies can’t behold Our Lord, unless in Spirit.

God will wipe every tear and He will mend every heart (Psalm 147:3) because he swallowed up death on the cross (Isaiah 25:8) – this is why Christians simply fall asleep and never die again.

How are you going to get to the other side of this pain?  As you choose to trust God, now more than ever, you are putting yourself right in God’s way.  You’re in His way because you desperately need His comfort, His peace (Philippians 4:7), His embrace (James 4:8).  Lean on Him (Proverbs 3:5) and don’t take your eyes off Him (be steadfast and unmovable (1 Corinthians 15:58).

This is important because the moment you stop paying attention to God, the moment the enemy will creep his way in and try to get you to commit suicide.  The enemy wants us to give us and stop believing in God.  This is real.  Whatever you do, keep looking at God and continue to believe in Him, trusting that His Master Plan is at work, even in this Christ hears our prayers and comes to our rescue with what we need to keep pushing forward and live until we are next in line to behold The Lord, Our Savior. Whomever and wherever you are, don’t take your eyes off of Him!
