  • Hunger Pangs: GOD, fill me UP again!

Don’t you know that our Spirits are connected to His Holy Spirit and the more you’re away from Him, the hungrier you’ll be? You’ll STARVE and fall subject to the temptation to give up, throw-in-the-towel, lest you return to Christ to be refilled.  This kind of “refill” requires falling on your face, before God, with “all of you,” “naked.”

  • How to Drop Dead Weight

Types of dead weight: People of Jehovah Nissi, The Lord My Banner The Lord fights for you! The Lord is your banner! A banner is used to announce something. We often find banners that display company signs; banners are a visual representation of a company. A banner is like unto a stamp or seal of ownership and/approval. The company’s name shows ownership and establishment by displaying a sign (banner) to let you know who they are. A name can show authority. Stamped on every Believer of God is CALLED but a few are termed CHOSEN because they’re decided to die…

  • It takes FAITH to FEAR God

In Psalm 34:9, David tells us to “fear” God, but not in the sense that to fear God is to be scared to pray to Him.  Fear, in this instance, could translate into being fully aware of who God is and what power He possesses.  So, fear is seen in this scripture verse to mean to reverence God; to hold God in the highest place within your life; to respect His divine plans for you.  It also means to submit to God as the ruler over your life and to be obedient to the commands He has instructed us as…

GOD is able to keep us, sustain us, deliver us, rescue us…be our EVERYTHING Today’s Scripture Readings: James 5:7-11 God’s Word Translation (GWT) 7 Brothers and sisters, be patient until the Lord comes again. See how farmers wait for their precious crops to grow. They wait patiently for fall and spring rains. 8 You, too, must be patient. Don’t give up hope. The Lord will soon be here. 9 Brothers and sisters, stop complaining about each other, or you will be…

  • Air of Authority

Well, the past couple of weeks have been a real struggle.  It is been hard to concentrate and I have to constantly re-remind myself that I am God’s child so He is with me always.  In the book of Exodus 3, Moses is met by God in the form of a burning bush.  God tells Moses, in today’s terms, “I am all you need.” Moses was contemplating going to tell Pharaoh what God instructed him to say.  Moses, from a carnal [earthly] standpoint, felt discouraged because Pharaoh was the king. Moses looked at Pharaoh to be a mountain that he…

  • Aim to Acknowledge

Lord, with everything going on in the world, I must still say that YOU are good! With all that is going on in my life, ups and downs, I must say that You are definitely good to me.   Lord, I realize that I complain way too much and I want to apologize and ask for Your forgiveness. Sometimes I feel like I am drowning in life’s issues but then I do remind myself that if You brought me to it, You can bring and will bring me through it!   So today I wanna tell You thank You. I…

  • Waiting on Change

How many of you are waiting on God to do something about your situation?  Everybody has times in their lives when things get a little rocky.  Turbulence comes at times we feel already overwhelmed.  How do we deal with the stormy weather?  Why does it happen again and again? Sometimes, just when you think its over, here comes another storm. My thought about all this is simply that God is in control.  He is the ruler above all.  God loves us and knows what is best for us.  He knows what needs to take place in order to draw us…

  • Don’t I know? The Lord got me. Repeat.

Scripture: I look up toward the mountains. Where can I find help? My help comes from the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth. He will not let you fall. Your guardian will not fall asleep. Indeed, the Guardian of Israel never rests or sleeps. The LORD is your guardian. The LORD is the shade over your right hand. The sun will not beat down on you during the day, nor will the moon at night. The LORD guards you from every evil. He guards your life. The LORD guards you as you come and go, now and forever. (‭Psalms‬…

  • A different perspective: #iamable

Interestingly enough, society has coined the term disability to mean such a debilitating existence. It is commonly thought that when a person has a disability, they are lacking something. I have learned that it’s not always the case. I have found that those that are labeled “disability” by category, are the most “able.” In fact, they are most able to look at possibilities in a very optimistic way. More times that not, people who are disabled go far beyond and above all that one would even think they could. What I am simply trying to get us to see is…

  • Don’t Abuse the Duo

We know that we have been made free in God once we have given our lives back to Him and believed in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. God gives us grace and mercy but it is not to be abused. We cannot just walk around and do anything we want. We are subject to God’s law and commandments. We can’t just live how we want and treat people wrong and expect God to act in grace and mercy toward us. God is beckoning us to do right, live right as according to His standards. You won’t know…

  • Let Me Call You Back so I can Call on My God!

So many times life hits us with some tough stuff! Situations come back to back to back and it feels like God has forgotten about us.  God has not forgot! God is still on the main line! You know, many times we call up everyone we know to tell them about our troubles. We call people so they can be an ear, give us encouragement, gossip – lies and truths, bad mouth folk etc but how many times are we willing to hang up that call and get on your knees to cry out to God in sincerity, asking Him…

Welcome DWTC Nation!

P4P is dedicated to the edification of ALL of God’s People by using the practical application of The Word of God to expound on how to handle life’s issues the way God intends.

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty to the pulling down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4. Putting on the Whole Armor of GOD equips and protects us when we are in a spiritual battle. We are Spirits having a human experience. The Spirit Realm is very real. We must allow GOD to teach us how to abstain from following the enemy’s tactics to “steal, kill, and destroy,” as well as distract, detour, and isolate us (John 10:10); this will cause us to have doubt and lose hope. We are more than conquerors through our association and relation to and with Our Father, Our Savior, and The Holy Spirit, (Romans 8:37).

We are VICTORS not victims. GOD always provides a way out, helping us to abstain from taking the enemy’s bait, his temptation, (1 Corinthians 10:13).
