Some Christians are walking around as if there’s no hope. They appear as zombies or lost souls because they’ve allowed the enemy room to make them doubt who God is to them and what He’s already done for them. They are choosing to wallow in their problems (self-pity) instead of taking their problems to The LORD, Our Father, in prayer, Psalm 55:2.

The Bible tells us to pray, always, in 1 Thessalonians 5:17. They are engulfed in self-pity, shame, and guilt. The enemy has convinced them that they aren’t worthy to be with Christ so he welcomes them to him. They’re not realizing that it’s an allusion, a game, a trick, cunning mastery that the enemy uses against Christians to lure them away from GOD.

The only way to combat the enemy is with The Word of God. Nothing else works!

They have yet to allow themselves to open their hearts to come into true salvation, true deliverance, and true freedom. See, you can’t truly be free if you are choosing to hold onto the sin that keeps you in bondage so satan will have us to think that the sin is far better than following GOD’s orders (commandments). Even though our hearts are pulling us towards GOD, our minds are pulling us towards satan. If you’re okay with it, then continue on.

If you truly want GOD to enter and control your heart and contain your mind, you must be willing first, 2 Corinthians 8:12-14. GOD’s not going to force Himself on you. You must desire: thirst & hunger for Him, Matthew 5:6. This is why He said, “abide in me and I will abide in you,” John 15:4. It’s on your own recognizance that you must accept Christs’ help. You must seek Him, diligently, and He will give you the desires of your heart, Hebrews 11:6. Diligence simply means be persistent and consistent in your prayer life, your praise & worship, and your study and fasting times. Don’t just call on The LORD when you need something. Call on Him just to tell Him, “thank you for all that you’re doing in my life.” Thank Him for all that He’s done and is going to do. Acknowledge Him as supreme, reverence Him and welcome Him into your space, to dwell with you, to be your Shekinah Glory.

What’s your heart posture? Are you humble? Can you follow directions and instructions? Will you be obedient or are you subservient, as we should? The Bible teaches us about humility: James 4:10, Proverbs 3:34, 1 Peter 5:6-9. It also teaches about how pride can cause us to utterly fall, Proverbs 16:18. Pride will cause you to miss GOD. Humility will cause GOD’s blessings to flow in your life, like a moth to a flame. It’s wise to practice humility because we are merely Children of GOD. There is no respecter of persons in The Kingdom of GOD, Acts 10:34, regardless of how this world and some of the modern-day Churches try to put emphasis only on certain titles of “higher authority.”

Are you humble or do you need to be brought back down to Earth? I urge you to consider doing this on your own. If GOD has to do it, it will likely be unpleasant and uncomfortable. Obedience is far better than sacrifice, 1 Samuel 15:22.

I’ve come to remind you today that HE IS RISEN! In fact, I’m going to break the Christian dogma here. Let me tell you, it wasn’t at The Resurrection that we received Him as LORD. It was when they lifted His broken, tired body unto the rugged cross. He said Himself, “If I be lifted up, I’ll draw all men unto me” John 12:32. It didn’t happen at the rising after death, it happened at the rising of His body onto The Cross, Hallelujah! For it’s at The Cross where we can take our burdens to Him, in prayer. We don’t have to fight, alone. We have a Mighty Strong Savior who has Hosts of Angel Armies to defend us! His blood still works! His power reaches to the highest mountain and flows into the lowest valley. It sustain, constrains, preserves, relieves, revives, releases, delivers, captivates, liberate and penetrates while it uncovers the truth. He is The Truth. The Truth is who/what sets us free, John 8:32. We become free, indeed, John 8:36.

Go through this week, in confidence, exercising faith over fear, with the belief that The LORD not only has your back, He covers your full 360 degree circumference. Understand that no weapon formed against you will prosper, Isaiah 54:17. When the enemy rises up against you, know that GOD rises up for you. Isaiah 59:19 says He’ll raise up a standard against satan for you.

Everything you do, do it as if you are doing it for The Lord, Colossians 3:23. Be kind to your enemies because in a matter of time, they will be cut down! They’ll be seated around your table. You’ll be at the head of the table serving them from the many blessings that GOD has bestowed upon your life that they didn’t want to see you get, Deuteronomy 28:7, Psalm 37:2. Nothing can overtake you. You can tell the mountain to move and it be demolished, in Jesus Name! Matthew 17:20, Mark 11:23 Think about that, an entire mountain will move if we apply our faith in Christ Jesus.

We must understand the need to exercise our faith so that we see the manifestation of the expectation of GOD’s Word in our lives! He watches over His Word to perform it, Jeremiah 1:12, and His Word will accomplish everything that it set out to do in your life, Galatians 6:9, Philippians 1:6. You shall live and not die, Psalm 118:17!
